yes, porsches with a flat four sound bad too. The 6s sound much different. It is a subjective thing though.

well a Porsche with a flat 4 is going to be very old and have a weak engine...I can definitely tell the difference between a Subaru H4 sound and a Porsche H6 sound, but I like them both.

those are the only porsches i've heard with flat fours, so comparing them to scoobys is apples/oranges.

I'm referring to basically all scoobies, especially modded turbo ones, which there are a ton of here, STi, WRX sti wannabees, etc. Luckily, my gf's Legacy is stock, so it sounds like a quiet Peterbilt. As for new porsches, they probably put more R&D in the the 997's sound than Subaru did in their entire WRX.

like i said, its subjective.
