I admire your organization skills, and initiative, but please don't put a crappy looking e36 body kit on your car! There are plenty of better looking options out there that don't make the car look like it's trying to be something it isn't.

eh I figured it would help me with my body work skills by doing it all from scratch with general e36 pieces, cutting and such.

Im gonna eventually do an mtech II kit when i can piece one together, but for now this'll give me stuff to do and not stick to generic plastic bumper swap.

i may just leave this eta kinda eurotrashed i havent decided quite yet.

Im looking for a clean iS to do real stuff on, and just have this one as a semi DD night track rat thing.

learning a lot though, seeing as i have never painted anything, ...pulled very many things apart, or done very much of this kind of stuff w/o any help at all.

...and enjoying the ricer-ish stuff in good taste too lol

I have an m30 in the garage, not 100% sure if it runs, but im gonna start tearing into it and see what i can learn there. Which is something ive never done, and im not even 100% sure what a swap actually entails as Ive never done anything that complex before solo, but should be neat.

I don't neartly have all the swap parts, but im hoping to maybe have it in this car by the end of the year or so, atleast before the timing gives out lol

I'd suggest focusing on basic maintenance over cosmetic "upgrades" and/or engine swaps if you don't have much experience. Also, what do you mean by dashboard "repair & paint"?

pulling the dashboard out, sanding it down where its cracked, resealing the cracks, and painting it with some .... more or less using plastic repair methods on the dash.
