    The daily fuel saver

Finally got the car to a respectable state. I picked it up 2 and half years ago with a straight body and some nasty pealing problems. I needed something with 4 doors and a lot of room for tools and crap for work, before it was a Taurus station wagon but that was just a hold over.

Over the next year it saw various maintenance, cloth sport seats, volvo lip and eventually paint. When it was out for paint I was lucky enough to find a set of basketweaves, sans caps, in the yard on half price weekend. Right after it gets painted by bitch of a neighbor scrapes it coming out of the parking spot! I couldn't prove it so didn't pursue it :(

Threw some H&R's, Koni's, e90 top hats on it along with new shock mounts, strut bearings, subframe bushings. Some time after I made the mistake of sneaking off to the track when the track toy was down and decided the car needed an LSD.

Heres how it looked for better part of 2011:

Spent the next year trying to find the wheels I wanted, friend of mine had them but refused to let them go. Finally sourced a pair with polished lips in France.

I want to man up and drop the front end down some more. The car sees a LOT of miles and unpredictable scenarios.

For now I need to fix the seat bolster, the drivers side has a chunk taken out of it and a huge hole in it.

Only thing it really could use is some sway bars and a solution to the lack of electrical going to the rear drivers side door.

I FU****G love this car though.

Is this a 318i? Saw pics of it in the OC meet thread, I'm still liking it. Very nice.

I L.O.V.E. this car!!! so clean!

Lower that front end with some GC e28 camber plates.

From what the details say you can use "stock e30 spec plate" Not sure if it will work on those type of springs.

Someone correct me if I am wrong on the plates, I have only had coilovers for all my e30s lol.

Hmm. Do I know you? Met at a Miata meet for some wheels I was selling to someone.
Then saw you at the gas station near Fullerton, and had a little fun run after?

My biggest fear is my oil pan. Plus I've only got maybe 10k miles on my Koni and H&R setup and the car rides so nicely!

Fuckin' 'eh man! My shit might be a tiny bit quicker now, especially with the LSD and bumped up rev limit. It's still a 318 though so not like I can expect a whole lot :P

                              So it's a late 318i, cool.

I've got DD grocery stance too. I'd like to get lower in front but fear "The Thunk".
