The early models (1998-2000) came with the S52, but for 2001 and 2002 they switched to the S54 from the E46 M3. However, in M-Coupe form the S54 put out about 315 HP due to changes in the exhaust, instead of the 333 HP that it produced in M3 form...the M-Coupe is still faster.

Z3 MCoupes are the must fun, from the factory cars made by BMW! Especially the monstrous s54 ones!

I almost bought a crashed, red '99 before I started my s52 swap on my 1st e30. I've always loved these cars! :pimp:
