    Now that i've scrolled through the pics again....I would say the engine is usable.
    Obviously the rubbers and plastics are gone but eng should be ok depending on how long it was run without oil pressure.

    The suspension should also be salvageable with maybe the exception of the RR shock being crispy and the LF strut may be bent.

    My guess is the fire started as a result of the hot oil being ignited by the exhaust in the area just in front of the RR wheel.

    i don't believe so. it's really a shame because the stroker had just been cured of all the little loose ends, and the coils and exhaust were enjoyed for barely a week. if the car hadn't caught fire there would have been tons of salvageable goodies.

    at least he hadn't put on the new wheels yet...

    Usually standard practice is the impound or tow yard just puts unclaimed/unpaid vehicles up for auction after a set time like 30-90 days.

    Any kind of isurance that can be claimed?
