When i first bought my car ten years ago me and my GF at the time were going to a movie and i lost about 1/2 tank of fuel waiting at a red light to turn into the movie theater. Turned out to be a spit fuel line right over the exhaust manifold. It would have looked like your pics. Im glad mine dosen't. Deeply sorry yours does.

But either you Americans have some weird ass seltbelt design that I've never heard of, or yours were completely broken. The whole point of their design is to stop them being able to be pulled out, no human alive is stronger than the force of a 90mph > stationary object smash, which seatbelts are designed to absorb.
