Sunday Driver (garage work)

I haven't been able to catch a break lately, so I though I would make myself take a break. I've been in Ashland OR at my parents house working for their business and working on their new house 7 days a week. Today I made a short day of work and grabbed the GoPro and my dads Cannon Rebel T1i EOS (what ever all that means). Planned on heading out to the lake and back roads going towards Klamath Falls. Change of plans while cruising through town and I decided to head up to Mt. Ashland at the Oregon California border. Thats most of the story and heres the pictures. There is allot of them but way more sit unedited on my computer, I don't know how photographers choose :D

I blew up the engine in my 4runner the weekend before 4th of july and was going out in to the woods come hell or high water. So i put the Yakimas back on and ripped down some old wood that i pulled off a job. It was a couple shelfs in a wine room. Pipe clamps and i have a flat bed. Was ment to be a couple week fix but i started liking it more and more so it stayed.

Thanks, and I had an awesome day of views on my drive. I haven't been up to the top of this mountain in 8 years or so. Car looks better in pics :P. Eibach Prokit coils.

A couple more. This is the top of the Mountain. A road that said 4x4 yes, 4x2 ok, cars, not recommended, but I'm pretty decent at driving off road so I figured I would go for it.

First is the radio towers and building



Second is a giant soccer ball. I'm pretty sure its a dopler radar for weather. (the highest point in the surrounding mountains aside from the locals)

Today I gave it a wash and a bit of interior (whats there) detail. Painted my kidneys the other day and noticed my headlight rings needed some love so i gave those a couple coats.

Also Bleed my brakes with new Speed Bleeders and only got four so i grabbed my dads pressure bleeder to do my clutch. I don't think I have ever bleed my clutch, shit was stank.

Took out my rear spring pads to achieve more low, waiting to see if it makes too much noise and I will throw them back in at a moments notice if they do.

While on jacks i scrubbed 4 years worth of tar and brake dust off my wheels, damn shiny now, not that anyone but me will notice. Only thing left to do would be a clay bar and a wax but I haven't decided if my paint is worth the effort yet.
