    LSB teaser

Finally got the body work done on the hood, it was my first time ever doing bondo work, and it turned out way better than I expected. I made a huge mess of dust in my garage, took me forever to clean up.

Here are the teaser shots of LSB on my E30. Paint is fresh in picture. I planned to only wet sand the hood, but I got some shitty runs on the driver door, so now the whole car is going to get wet sanded and polished. I think it turned out great, will look fantastic with black bumpers, trim, tinted tail lights etc!

You could have at least removed the easy stuff...

Mirrors, antenna, trunk lock, and maybe bumpers...

why would i remove the mirrors, and antenna?

This was my second attempt at a budget paint job. I'm $100 into single stage paint and supplies (not including compressor and air tools, spray gun etc.) I learned alot from my first time around, like doing the necessary body work to get a decent result. And wearing a dust mask when doing bondo is mandatory. I coughed up so much black shit after the first day of sanding!

I was planning on keeping the mirrors black as I think this colour needs the contrast to look good.

Didn't even lie anything down? lol, at least you probably had fun doing the paint work. It looks pretty nice, wish I had the space and time to do that. Looking forward to seeing how it turns out! I hope that tinted tails aren't blacked out :)
