New, saying Hi! (Update 9/12 holy crap its been a year)

    Hey guys/gals,

New to the site and finally grabbed an E30 (87 325IS) im sure you guys love pics...ill have some over the weekend when i go pick it up. Always had a love for E30s but more so for old school muscle...so a few years ago i grabbed a 1973 Dodge charger, drove the crap out of it and now that thats finally getting restored i needed to fill the now missing void. So finally after tons of searching i found a nice E30 at a great price and the rest is history. I figure ill just do enough to the car for now, but i dont want to start another project just yet. When the chargers done ill give the E30 all the attention it deserves.

I know its not e30 related but if anyones interested, heres a link to the chargers resto

And heres the engine dyno (after the dyno i took the heads off to swap to aluminum and found some issues with the short block that a different builder did, so i took the whole thing apart doing a cam swap and head swap now should see 500hp 540ft lbs)

Well that about sums it up, ive got quite a bit to learn about e30's but im sure ive come to the right place!

Wow just realised its been a year with the e30 and I never even posted pics of when I got her. Better late than never!

            Basically this less the flag

And now...basically turned into a streetable track car (completely 180 from my original intentions). Few things left to do, harnesses and fixed back seats...few other things here and there. Should make it to the last race of the season in NJ and see how things go.

            Some recent pics...

And the very latest. Removed some stickers as it was getting cluttered (mainly from just messing around and throwing stickers on for kicks) but i would like to keep it mainly to the guys that help us out the most like Levent at Guten parts, Castro, condor speed shop (waiting on a banner from them), ryan g, race skids..etc.

Its not for everyone but its a damn fun car and I've met a ton of great and helpful people along the way.

Will do. Should make it to nj in Oct. Might record some parking lot sliding videos if I get some time in the next week or so.
