    E28 Spring Choppage

    backstory cliff notes:

    - auto E28 for $250
    - Swap to manual (net: $0)
    - needs low
    - shocks are beyond toast
    - chop springs!! (2.5 coils front, 2 coils rear)
    - E38 Style 5s for $100

                  it's actually not Bronzit. It is some Beige or something. I forget the exact name. It is slightly darker than Bronzit.

                      JK, the auto trans was shot, and the car had been sitting for two years, and the interior was not so glamorous, and it was overrun by mice, and the guy was asking $400 and I offered $250 and he took it. He didn't think it ran either but after adding gas it fired right up.

                      needless to say i had to do A LOT of cleaning.

                          However, if you are looking for handling upgrade options, I would suggest that blown shocks and chopped stock springs is not one of them.

                              what I WANT to do is find an M60B40 (I already have a 6-speed sitting in my garage), slap it in, straight pipes, gut interior (which sucks anyway), flat black, done.

                              and by straight pipes I mean from the headers, x-pipe, then straight out the sides right before the rear tires.
