                Car looks like a good starting platform.
                Your volvo lip has gaps between it and the valance because it looks like you still have the IS lip clips still attached and are in the way.

                Fix the battery tray/rear valance rust before it consumes you!

                  I actually took the clips off in the more recent pictures. Not because I had to, but because I broke them all off by hitting a parking spot barrier

                              Yeah, I had to drill about 10 small holes in the lip and bottom of the front valance, then just zip tied them all in place. I scrape the bugger every day yet they all hold on there like glue. Easy to remove for clearance and re-install with new zipties.
