Yeah this area is awesome. I swear that every other car on the road is an X5 or X3. Most of my neighbors are from Germany and work for either BMW or Michelin tire. I've met a few that had e30's for their first cars growing up and a few that still have an e30 back home..its pretty sweet, they love mine.
Trying to get that euro hookup for parts when they return to the motherland!Leave a comment:

And just to put icing on the cake- this was my second ticket (for being un-inspected parking on the street) and it was taken ON MY BIRTHDAY. I put a sign to the Philly PPA saying I have an appointment in three days and they ripped it off and gave me a ticket.
Gotta love it.Leave a comment:

Car is looking great man! You are living in a very E30-friendly part of the country. By looking at the Greenville Craigslist, it seems like there are lots BMW fans in the area. It is usually loaded with clean E30 cars and parts!Leave a comment:

Yearly update!
So at the end of 2013 I made the move down to Greenville, SC due to a career opportunity. Already, I am happy to be driving this year round. Made the 650mile trip without any hiccups. Plus, I keep getting major cudos around town since BMW has a huge plant down here that manufactures the x3,x5 and x6.
Anyway, I have done a lot of maintenance now that I have a garage.
-35% window tint
-Refreshed the intake mani with new gaskets, intake boot and m50 injectors (huge improvment)
-Full valve job with new NGK BPR6ES plugs, distributor cap, rotor and wires.
-Replaced exhaust manifold gaskets
-Replaced throttle cable
-Replaced hood latch
-Refreshed Euros from water damage
-Refreshed all trim, grilles, side mirrors etc with Duplicolor paint (SEM is impossible to find)
-Replaced my passenger fender from the PO's accident with a chair in the middle of the highway
-FINALLY man'd up and replaced my volvo lip with a real authentic IS lip.
Now I just need to make an appointment for paint and I'll be good to rock and roll for summer!
My next plans-
-I'm getting tired of the basketweaves, considering looking into getting ESM 002's soon.
-Pretty sure I need to replace my bumper shocks- Tried adjusting the sides of the bumper but it still sags too much for my liking.
-Thule rack arriving this week.
And I'm getting ready to sell my B7 A4 this spring, so more than likely will be DD'ing this for a bit until I make my mind up what to get next. (X5, LR3 or 4Runner)
Also talked my buddy into an ETA

What a disgrace, Google picked up my car with a ticket and a missing center cap. How embarrassing.

- Throttle cable replacement
- 35% window tint and shadow line
- repairing dent in front passenger side
Should be easy, already put 8k miles on her within a year! Loving every second of it.

Yeah, I had to drill about 10 small holes in the lip and bottom of the front valance, then just zip tied them all in place. I scrape the bugger every day yet they all hold on there like glue. Easy to remove for clearance and re-install with new zipties.Leave a comment:
