Hello and meet my scwarz mica touring

    Hello,

I'm new to this forum. Great cars and projects here.

My name is Niek, 33 years old and i'm living in the Netherlands.
A few months ago i bought my first e30. A 316i mica schwarz touring.
Maybe i'll swap the 316i for a 318is in the future. For now it is ok the way it is. A nice and easy cruising car.

At the moment i'm working on some rust repair. I did some spraypainting this afternoon. Hopefully the colour turns out right. I had a spraycan made by a paintspecialist.

Last week I bought myself a set of 15" Hartge wheels. I sanded them down and want to respray them. For now the car has stock 14" steelies.

    Hartge Photoshop :)

Looks like someone shot my hood. This picture was taken during the replacement of the timing belt. Nexttime i'll remove the hood ;)

The car has driven 257XXX km (159692 miles) She's just getting started.

I really like the colour of this car.

    Cheers!

Ugh to have access to a touring, you europeans get all the best toys.

What is up with the box around the bullet hole?

What would you like to see?

I think touring (beside the cabrio) are the best looking e30's (no offence )

The guy i bought the car from put a sticker over it to cover the hole. That's why you see the box.

Maybe i'll replace the hood or fix it and spray it. I allready have a spare hood but this one might be better.. beside the hole.

I think it is great to see you guys driving the e30. This because parts and cars are more rare. You just have to love the car to keep it in good shape.
Parts are no problem in Europe. But i think too many cars are used as a donor.

Isn't there a good supplier in the US?

Blunttech is a great parts supplier! However, we don't have as many donor cars for rare parts.

Your car looks great. I am interested to see the 15's on the touring.

I can't wait to put my 15's under the touring.
I have to check one of the wheels. There's a little damage. Nothing serious.
Sanding is almost done. Hope to get them ready for primer this week.

                            Which parts are rare?

Ajhowza, you're driving a 318is? I have to get a engine like that one day. Think it would be great for the touring.
