I don't feel it any bit slower than before with the 14" wheels tire diameter is about the same...

My 17x9.5's with 215/40's all around i definitely notice a difference compared to the basketweaves. And what is the offset on the tens?

Looks nice, but needs to be 16's with bigger tires! Don't get the point of having 10" wide wheels with only 7" of rubber on the ground.

A 215/40/17 has more like a 8.3" section width, but whatever makes you feel better about not getting it.
