Haven't posted an update in awhile.

Mostly because I haven't had anything to update. Been too busy to do much to the car other than drive it. Oh, and this:

Accidentally 'sploded my earl pan. :(

Got a new one on there and also had the valves adjusted and fan clutch replaced while it was in the shop. My coolant temperature creep in traffic issue is resolved, which is nice. I also replaced the dif fluid and fuel filter earlier this summer.

Unfortunately, I haven't really touched these:

But that should change soon. My goal is to finish getting them refurbed over the winter so they'll be ready to run by the spring.

I've got a nice list of goodies to track down, and I'm also dropping the car off to get a little detailing/paint correction done before I tuck it away for the winter.

    Tootles! :)

I want a set of M-Systems with Turbines on my car so bad. Your car should give me a pretty good idea of how they'll look.

i've had one of these on my list for about a year and a half and other things always seem to supercede (like maintenance and derp'd oil pans).

my plan is to replicate the m-tech 1 stripe on the bottom spoke where the center/metal meets the leather. i'm gonna get the 350mm, which is only a little smaller than the m-tech1 i have in there now, but it will give my knees a little bit more room and also not block the gauges.

a shot from a year ago for fun.

Stop teasing us! You had better not make us wait until spring to see mounted pictures. I have wanted that wheel as well for a long time, I want the 320mm one though... I always called it the MOMO peanut wheel due to it's diminutive size!

believe me, it's more of a tease having this stuff sitting in my basement (at least some of it) and not having time to get to it than it is for you guys seeing me post about it, ha.

i tried a 300mm raid wheel i had in my vw when i first got my e30, and it was lost in translation. looked awesome in my mk3 but stupid in the e30. i quickly learned e30s require a more subtle hand. :p

here are some throwbacks to illustrate this concept from early in my e30 ownership, for shits and giggles:

and a trial fit of my 14x9 & 9.5 TH lines, pre-coilovers for laughs:

                in their rightful home:

this was an enjoyable reminiscing session for me, thanks for watching. :)

                          Thanks man.

This is a great time of year for E30 driving on the east coast. Winter hibernation is soon...

damn, what a difference a sexy set of wheels can do for an e30 compared to bottlecaps.
