E36 Ti = Just like an E30 with working heat.

My wife wanted a new car for the winter, what she wanted was something like an E30, but with working heat, and here it is, a 1996 Hellrot 318Ti M-sport, its missing the front bumper but that will be taken care of.

The bad is they have E36 issues? Loved and hated the two I have owned. Add a M52 and make it a 328Ti and then it becomes a fun acceptable Ti.

Looks very sharp in Hell Rot. Please don't add a DDM front bumper, source a proper OEM M3 piece for it.

Love it! Tried to find one of those instead of an E30 but they were either destroyed or more than I want to pay. I like the idea of having a hatch too.

              I've always liked these.

There's a white one running around my neighborhood... I'd daily one in a heartbeat. Compact, sporty-looking, and more practical than a coupe. I dig it.

I like it, a lot, I told her if she didn't want it, I'll drive it.

E36 Ti's have E30 issues, specifically the outdated, crappy, rear suspension.

That suspension has been through how many recalls? Subframe and tearing of body come to mind.

Not that an M44 NA is going to tear the car apart.

Back on track I didn't see if it was a M/T or AT. M/T is fair more enjoyable in Ti's. Toss lighter wheels on the car than the tank Borbets and this car will be very fun.

I think there was one recall on the trailing arm pockets a few years ago, beyond that, none. E30 suspension sucks. period.

Then why troll here? BFc slow today? No never been a recall or a huge lawsuit over the rear suspensions in E30 nor Ti's.

323Ti are cool too. Few guys have built Ti's up with LSx engines now too.
