You need to put side skirts on it... then put it in the garage and buy a shittier winter beater... something you'd expect to be a winter beater... something with big dents and the such.

yay, too bad i never seen any snoe? is it like snow? hehe :roll:Originally posted by AndreNYIn Germany when it snoes it's not like the US, they actually clean it right away, and do not use SALT like they do hereOriginally posted by egk2Nice. Help me understand why you would rather drive a lowered
e30 through snow instead of a truck.IG: @Baye30

correction. they use TONs of salt here in germany. my truck has billet 20" rims on it, is slammed, and is 2 WD, with an automatic. all this equals crap in the snow, im not going to clean my rims everyday, and the truck is from arizona and worth quite a bit of money here. i dont want to see it rust out.
side skirts will come as soon as i find a nice set, I think the Mtech I skirts are ugly.
why would i do all this to a winter car??? cause i can and the parts all cost me almost nothing. germans give away e30 parts for almost nothing these days just to get rid of them. lowering=== I will not drive any car that is stock height, ands springs are almost free in the junkyard! the alpina spoiler is the old school chrome bumper one and i have had it for years and this is the first pre fl model ive owned in years. if it was a nfl model, it would have my m-tech II kit on it. there is still some time before winter, and a few months after winter to enjoy it.
here in germany, like andre said, the roads are cleaned very fast, so im really not worried about the spoilert being broken.Comment

Snowplow.Originally posted by DigitalwaveI don't know why you'd lower and mount an Alpina airdam on a winter beater, but it looks nice.

i really dont want to drive it through the winter, but honestly mama is making me, thats what the car was bought for, and thats what the wife says i need to do with it cause the M3 is already taking up space, and my truck will be deregistered,so i really would have a hard time explaining that i need to have another car sitting, and buy another. It cleaned up alot better than i expected, after the winter though, i will deregister it and probably go crazy on it getting really nice and all bushings and things replaced. but i still will end up driving the truck next summer and not this car anyway.Comment

Where in Germany do you live? I know the lowlands toward the water tend to have a pretty regulated climate.
That looks great. Im diggin the no hood look, youd really fit in in the midwest with the f-body drivers. :DIm now E30less.
