    Photoshoot with Draco02's 2002Tii

    I just put this up on the FAQ sight but thought some of you over here might enjoy this as well......

    Draco02 (bmw2002faq.com) recently finished a pretty exhaustive restoration on his Tii, some of you might have seen the car out at SoCalVintage this last weekend. I wanted to try to playing photographer (no JRHONE!) and snap some more shots.

    The car was a full restoration with helpings from the Turbo parts bin, 3-piece Epsilon wheels, original Talbot green-dot mirror, lots of cad plating, and a couple of things from the Ireland Engineering catalogue. Hope you enjoy.

                  Very cool. I had plans to make my '74 Verona 2002 look something like this... but sold it before I did much to it.

                      Also. next time I would recommend a background that isn't so similarly colored to the car.

                              Thanks for the comments...just a bit more info on the car.

                              Engine
                              IE billet 284 cam,
                              IE SS intake and exhaust valves
                              IE HD rocker arms and ARM locks
                              All new rocker rods, Crower retainers, Isky HD valve springs, port matched e12 tii head.
                              9-1 half over pistons, early B-1 Kugelfischer mechanical pump (rebuilt) also rebuilt mechanical tii injectors. Currently breaking in with about 300 miles. Will get dynoed shortly.
                              Driveline is stock 4 speed with euro tii diff 3.45. Cruising at 70mph @3500rpms. Wheels are 16x8 et 0 with 225 in rears and 205 tires up front.
                              Suspension is currently with bilstein sports and IE stage 2 springs, all IE urethane bushings, IE front and rear sways, front springs have been cut 1 coil but am working On tii coilovers to bring down the front a tad.
                              I drive this regularly and is by no means a garage or trailer queen. Built to be driven and enjoyed.
                              Engine out glass out suspension off original Chamonix bare metal paint by World Class Restoration of Riverside CA.
                              Interior has been re-done with black suede headliner, e21 front recaros and modified 6 series e24 rear seats.
