So the e30 is running smoothly. The idle is a bit weird, but I believe it due to the computer relearning everything. The Poly bushings, new tires, and an alignment are scheduled next.

Does anyone have any ideas as to what else I should do?

I was planing on venturing into an upgraded suspension.

Hey did you say your top isn't working? Did you say it was a power top? Mine didn't work either....it was missing some arm and the module apparently had a kink in it so I sold the motors and I turned it into a manual. Love it.

How do you convert it into a manual top? I've never heard of that?

you have to buy some cables and a door handle and a back speaker cover that has the cutout for the handle and hook up the cables and you're in business. PM me sometime and I can help you get this stuff too if you decide to go that route.

So an update on my build. I fucked up and DID NOT RESURFACE the HEAD. (Dumbass move I know) Here it is btw

Anyway now Im going back in there, pulling the old VR gasket and replacing it with an OEM BMW gasket

part number 11121722734 and torque bolts 11121726478.

I will also get rid of that POS brand new Bosch Starter. Im currently looking for an old one which I can rebuild.

Lastly, I have placed an order for a Miller MAF kit with a KAMOTORS CAI. I also have an Electrical fan from bimmer world I need to throw in. Super excited for that MAF and CAI to show up and not a bit excited to have to tear the car up again for my stupid mistake.

Got my new CAI from KAMOTORS. The overall quality is pretty good. It seems as if you have to mod and adjust it yourself, so it is more sturdy.
