    350mm Mtech 1?

I mentioned in another thread that a 350 Momo Monte Carlo has been on my to do list for awhile. Well, I finally got one, thanks to Anu (constructor).

I really like the Mtech 1 wheel, but at 6'4" with no tilt column, it's just too big. My knees come too close and it's really the only thing cramping me in the driver's seat. Thus, the Monte Carlo. But, I knew I would miss that little stripe that matches my shift knob. So I did my best to replicate it, and I'm stoked on how it turned out.

I still have the Momo horn button...not entirely sure what I'm going to do with that yet, but I've got all winter to sort it out. Car gets tucked away this weekend until spring.

I've already installed the wheel, I took it off to apply the decal today. I'll take some mounted pics when I get it back in the car later today. This concludes my weenie BMW guy post for the month.

yeah just regular old vinyl. i actually had an ///M decal laying around and i measured and trimmed that. heated the metal and decal with a blow dryer a bit, and applied.

Looks good! What will you be using for a hub and mount or quick release?

Nice and simple, I will be installing a new steering wheel soon but, with a quick release, so that I can feel like a racecar driver!

So the new wheel is a 350mm? I'm trying to decide which wheel I want to get. In for pics when it mounted.

Very nice. That looks good. When you have it mounted, does the top of the steering wheel get in the way of your spedometer? Or can you see just fine?

That looks great. Simple stuff sometimes make a big difference. Will definitely steal this idea too when I change mine out :)
