My 1st E30 Pics inside of progress

It's a 91 318 IS I bought it for 800$ which is a great deal. I needed a daily driver since i didn't want to drive the s2000 anymore as a daily driver and needed something for winter and my friend talked me into getting one and I now I love it. When I bought it wasn't in the best condition the paint was fading the clear coat was gone on the front hood, roof, and trunk, which is still in a progress of getting fixed and painted. When i got it it was in horrible shape from interior cables all cut up and over the place, believe it or not it was a fire ready to happen lol but slowly it got fixed and bought some good condition seats, front is lip. The front bumper was also dented in at the corner where the fog light was cracked. A very good friend of mine has been helping me with this project and he should get most of the credit for getting the car to where it is now :) He's also got a e30 which i'll post pics of later. I plan on sanding the whole car down and getting a nice paint job, but for now just make it look presentable. Now for the pics :)

    When i first got it:

    Bumper off looking evil

    Added lip and sanded hood

I took the interior completely out and found it had dynamat all over the interior and found all these wires cut. The speedo didn't work nothing worked except the fuel and temp gauges.

And put together interior and few exterior shots of progress:

And parts waiting to be put on :

    Oh and here's a pic of the s2k and the e30 :)

why are you going to sand the car down and repaint? The paint looks decent enough. It should be a single stage paint (if it's original), which means it will polish back to shiny new.

Single stage? I thought that was only offered with early DB models...particularly on zinnos and hennas? Everything else was two stage

It was painted before and it's got some spots that need to be fixed, just thought sanding the whole car down n painting it n having fresh paint. In pics it looks but it's not lol and thx for the comments I'll have updated pics today of the e30 :D

Really like the direction your going in with the e30. The bbs' on the s2k look stunning. Nice touch.

Brillantrot (which this car is) was single-stage paint from BMW... it looks far better in 2-stage though.
                  Nice work, keep it up!
