here is my car, after a night of freezing rain. the doors are completely frozen shut, and there is about a half an inch of ice covering the ENTIRE car. i dont think ive ever seen this much ice up here.

As far as getting the doors unfrozen, a hair dryer. Seriously.

I just sent the pic in to bavauto, thanks for the idea guys.

That is the only time we have ever gotten ice like that. Right now the weather is about 50 degrees. Strange how it was in the teens a few days ago...

did u hit the ice to make it shatter so u were able to open the door?

My dad had to do that when he got back from Minnesota and found his car also covered in ice.
