How NorCal preps for Archiefest2

We spent all day yesterday cleaning and painting our cars, in preparation for our 400 mile trip to Archiefest2.

I started on my car and waited for my dad to arrive in his.


I took my interior out to soak the leather and clean the carpets and consoles.


My dad washes and prepped for waxing


Did some fender rolling :/ and lots of cleaning


After I finished my cleaning mine, we tackled his wheels.


Commence the sanding of his newly refurbished valance.


Painting, LIKE A BOSS! Im so jelly of his valance.

Aww father son moments. I can't wait for my son to grow up a lil more, so we can do things like this.

its special order paint from paintscrach and we figure the car was 1000$ and came with a split valance, a really nice rattle can job it the most we'll spend on it. it'll look pretty damn pro in person.

With some nice prep and finish work you can make rattle can look damned good.

Here's my bumper. Done with Rustoleum and clear, then wet sanded and buffed.


Cars look great. I wish my dad was into cars that I like :rofl:
