im saving up for the M-Tech II kit but im debating whether i go with a CSL style rear bumper or just get the whole M-Tech kit as DTM fiberwerks made a CSL style trunk that caught my eye..

love the engine bay! but imho black wheels with silver lips and the ebay lights just look cheap and dont fit with the quality engine bay

the lips on the wheels will get powder coated cherry red when i paint the car jet black... as for the lights i went from sealed beams and i personally like them not all like angel eyes but i like the dark look and both fogs and main lights have HID 8k so i love the brightness at night but in the future ill be in the process of making the halos better as they are built in the lights...

You should just take those M-badges off, why not put something on saying it's Metric Mechanic? No need to pose for something else perceived as "cool" when you actually have something else that is pretty cool under the hood.

i agree but the M badge on the trunk cam with the car and i like how it throws the cops off lol as for the front im in the process of getting a M42 or a M2.1 front like the e30 M3 ... if i can get a badge that says metric mechanic then im all for it right now the badges can stay or go...

correction 4 dr 318 WITH A MM MOTOR... also not that it makes it slower or faster is that when they used to call it in they would refer the car as an M3 thats all even when i got the car smogged i forgot to tell him what model it is an assumes its an M car and runs the software for it but since the badges was on when i bought the car 4 yrs ago i just got so used to it that i forget about it and never get around to do something about it maybe i should start now before ppl think im posing or trying to be something im not which i dont want to be in that category... like i said before most of my money went in to the motor, trans, drive train, and suspension... rather then appearance was last so my car goes and handles extremely well so now im trying to work on the looks but things have changed now that im engaged and more involved with her family that i hardly dont have the time to work on my car as apposed to 2 yrs ago when i was single and 80% of my check went to the car but at least i have the drivability so the car will last a long time
