After the Vlad thread, I am just stunned with the detail. Always been a purist in that sense but I am starting to appreciate the craftmenship and implied hard work.

That and it's so cool to see any E30 at SEMA ...especially one with the extended 2 inch M3 flares stuffed with 295s in the rears.

Engine obviously kicks ass but overall that car sucks balls.
Plus 295's is not that hard and certainly doesn't warrant hacking up the flares. I've had 285's under my M3.

overall, one nice e30 m3 went to a wrong person, i mean common ls3..why not use m5 v8 or v10 engine?...would be much wise choice, from both power and purist sides?...no?
put a stock e30 m3 with s14 next to this car and i would prefer it.

nevertheless, the swap is done very nice, clean, and it does look good, no doubt for that.

Um... because an LS motor is much cheaper to modify, better on gas, cheaper to deal with ALL around, no special persons/companies required to program the DME, and an LS motor is smaller, lighter, more torque... I'm sure there's more but the only thing true about your comment I bolded is from a purists standpoint and even then true purists would be against anything but an s14.

modifying those flares killed the whole car for me.....
it's a good job but ruins it terribly...... looks dumb as fuck and way to hack up a perfectly good e30m3...

The stripe and the headlight grill kill it for me on the outside. Also, I know LS engines are the shit as far as performance goes but, it ruins the M3 in my mind.

JeST, no doubt that the LS motor is the shit, has torque, power and easy to modify and if it is a point of that build, that's OK.

I still think it is very improper to put American engine in classic BMW, just think about it.

                    and those flares...

Eww, you are right. I didn't see that stripe the first time I saw it. Fuck that stripe.

This car is awesome, just wish the windows weren't so black. I wanted to see the interior!

Isn't that what everyone is after when they modify a car? ...

I do see your point though. It's so wrong but .... so right at the same time, lol.

yeah, everyone is going for power, torque, easy mods, but then why not just put LS engines in regular e30's, right?...why put it in e30 m3, classic, rare piece.
it's like putting a V8 chevy engine in a classic old Ferrari, or a Porsche.

it's my subjective point of view

Function and form. Love everything minus the stripes.

Regarding hacking up the fenders, it doesn't look over the top stupid. Its just that the body line gets contorted to the point you could recognize it with the trained eye.

For the cost of getting a s62/s85, why would you go that route? And as far as fitting 285s under your m3 teaguer, his car is 100% functional. With that said it seems he could fit more rubber if he chooses. It isn't how much you could fit, but how well you could use it while its there.
