Well the Dirty-e30 used to be the rally car, now the Rally-e30 is, but it doesn't rain up here to often, and our Rally cross has been canceled for the year. Plus there are no roads to rally on. Very limited usage here in Reno. Virginia would be a fun drive... But i blew up my knee, so im not to mobile at the moment.

ah, well hope you get better. A few of us may head out your way to rallycross nationals next year (in either Oklahoma or Nebraska, not sure which it's at next year), so maybe we'll see you.

Really, i took it to work and took it to the solvent tank, cleaned it up really good, got brake cleaner to make sure it was absolutely dry, went home put a good white base coat on, then taped it off, i think i painted it for two days. Now its kinda fading and really oily, but thats how i did it, then took a razor blade and cut the paint off the ridges, i kinda wanna put in a red one, but thats work and i have plenty of work to do. What kind/ specific colors of paint did you use? Yours looks really good. And did you use a clear coat after? Thanks for the help.

I used a primmer and white combined for the base coat, taped it off at i think two inches, maybe a bit bigger, for the stripes. Banner red with a primmer, the primmer probably not needed. True blue and some peekaboo blue, light blue, to lighten it up, then straight purple, which seems a bit dark to me, but he it works, i also recommend to take the extra time to tape off the raised stripes before painting, very hard to get off with a razor blade, and it chips off and doesnt look real good, that's if you do want the raised part unpainted.
