Right on! How did you like the process of converting it from a auto to 5 speed?

Thanks for all the feedback guys I really do appreciate it.

With the 2.93 doing 80, I'm at 3k. Redlining 3rd I'm at 100mph. It's too fast and too crazy for the street after that... Haven't pushed it. I would want the original 3.15 only cause the acceleration is a bit quicker. Comparing the two cars with the same motor, they behave so differently the weight makes a huge impact. (No matter what anyone says... till I put on coil overs... M vehicle handling is legendary, the balance on those cars especially an E36 M3 is the Sheeeee-iet.

I'm using a standard M3 trans off of a 98 car. It's one of the most solid transmissions ever made and can hold up close to 600hp from what I've (we all) have seen.

As far as a volvo lip goes, it's only about an inch larger than the IS lip, so if that inch really bothers people... damn thats funny. But thanks anyway for the feedback.

The only that concerns me now is the handling... my M3 had GC coil overs and I wonder how the two compare if I put coil overs on this thing... will it handle better? Cause the rear end on this thing gets loose really quick (nothing wrong with it really) but for track use it's best to have the car on rails.

      Thanks again guys.

depends on the spring rates, stiffer front springs will lead to understeer, combined with sticky tires that's a pretty legit combination on a car that's already tail-happy :D

The E30 is always going to be over steer happy, we gain camber and toe in the rear, where the E36 has a multi-link that keeps the rear end aligned pretty well. To get it to handle better you need to stiffen the rear up as much as possible, less travel means, less of an effect from our trailing arm suspension.

              lol u mad?
Just say no to volvo lip. It's so funny how some clowns try to justify it and say it doesn't look like shit.

And I actually said his car looks good. It doesn't deserve a volvo lip.

LOL wut. your counterargument adds nothing to your original retarded statement.
