My god. I love your car so much. Henna, euro bumpered, it doesn't get much better.
How's the paint? Think you're going to able to bring it back with a good detail?
Do you know what it's dropped on? Looks pretty low, I like it.

You've got a total winner. I'd sand and repaint the rubber strips on the front and rear bumpers, respray the grills, hunt down some fogs, remove that ancient tint and throw some weaves on her. It will look even better.
    Thanks for sharing.

    I demand moarrr pics

Edit: I just went through your parts link above and figured I'd post what I could here:

Oh yeh, your hazard switch is upside down.

    Hope this helps

The paint has some sun spots, and I've lost most of the shadow lining? I think that's what it's called. It's all got a few spots where previous owner tried to spray over scratches or blemishes, so looks a bit off.

To be honest, I don't really know how I should go about detailing it, but it definitely needs to be done.

          My issues :

I'm in last semester of college, so I just don't have an incredible amount of time OR money.

I don't know what it's dropped on, but I can ask my mechanic. He's been working on the car for the past 8 years or so. It is so low, however, forcing me to less than 5mph over speed bumps.

I will definitely put more pictures up, and if there's a tutorial on sanding the bumpers and repainting them, I'd love to start working on that!

As for weaves, would I be getting 14"?

          Thanks!!

            Florian,

Did you ever live in Phoenix or visit perhaps?

I could have sworn I saw your car a few years ago driving around in North Phoenix. Gave a wave I think (was in my blue M Coupe).

An early henna with euro bumpers isn't a normal sight.

My girlfriend's parents live in Cave Creek, so I've spent a lot of time in the area! It's quite possible, and I've never seen another euro henna :-P

Seriously? I was told at the DMV it was 30 years everywhere but it looks like it's just Florida :( fuck that, I'm counting down the days until I can get mine (not really).

This is my favorite new car to pop up in members ride so far in 2012. Keep it classy and you won't go wrong!

That car is truly amazing. I wish I had the money and knowledge to play with mine. I just don't know anything. I have time, for the most part, though :P

I think I'm going to read up on repainting the bumpers, work on that, and look for some cheap euroweaves! I also have fog lights sitting at home, so I should probably figure out how to put those on.

I got all of these parts! thank you! Would I just use normal, matte black for the bumpers? I can just sand them out, tape off, and spray them? or what.

                          thanks for your help!
