Honestly, i would prefer the reliability of the s52. Im a little weary of the 01-02 s54 bearing shells. Im going to be putting a lot of miles on it and would rather not be nervous every time i put the pedal down.
Besides, the blue car put down 299rwhp with evosport cams (soon to be in the mcoupe due to his boredom and lust for boost).

Very understandable. That kind of power is very much in S54 territory, only thing missing is the sound of ITBs. Maybe BMW makes CDs similar to the new M5 software so you can still hear the sound lol.

Ive lost all hope for the "M" division after I got wind of that imitation sound blasphemy. Makes me a little sick to my stomach to see that is the direction they are moving.

I don't get the S54 worry.. They are tracked and ragged over here all the time, and failures aren't common.
