    First e30

Just grabbed it this afternoon. 1987 325e with 210k.

    The bad:
    no spark
    power windows dont work
    cracked windshield
    cracked dash
    needs paint

    The good:
    $700
Houndstooth interior in amazing shape (edit: not houndstooth)
a new project to work on

Sorry sir, but that is not a houndsooth interior as far as i can tell in the pics.

    Good luck with the car.
any ideas as to why there is no spark?

Thought it was, but it might not be, I'll get more pics of the interior in the upcoming project thread. As far as the no spark issue I've narrowed it down to the CPS, main relay or DME.

It is a cool looking interior though!
Don't recall seeing many like that.

Sounds like that could be right. It turns over and everything?

Yea, you turn the key it cranks but won't catch. Should be in my driveway mid-week so I can do more with it then.

I'm pretty sure they are sport seats, and I will be keeping it for now.

Sounds exactly like mine with the same problems except my was just an e, it was black, and it had houndstooth non sport seats.

If you need the cps or the dme lmk.
