So for the swap- engine, tranny, drive shaft, radiator, computer, wireing harness and i think that was about it. everything else worked. the hardest part for us to figure out was the wiring.Leave a comment:

From what i see everything fits since it is a factory e30 engine. The only thing needing modification is the c104 as the later e30's had a round c101 instead of the square c104.Leave a comment:

I have always thought an M42 in an '84 318i (manual windows, manual locks) would make an awesome car, since the '84 318i was the lightest production E30.
