    Meat Test Fitted

    It fits... :shifty

Track season is a few short weeks away. Replaced all the brakes, calipers, lines and such. Upgraded the front sway. Should be nice along with the Ground Controls. Decided to go with some Grand-Am/Conti Tire take-offs for this year. A 225 slick that fits more like a 235. Photos are a bit noisy but adds a little to the photos I think. Subject is not very clean and a little ratty so works well. Ran out of light when I was swapping.

Have you tested the front fitment at full load mid corner? I had clearance issue with 205/50-16 star specs with similar camber to what I see there. At ET25 on a 7" wheel.

Wow... what was rubbing? 205s on my street wheels et25 and I can do whatever I want and it never rubs. Camber will be maxed out(so add 2-3 degrees from these photos) at the track. The Conti slicks LOVE camber.

Guy on bf.c runs a 'used race tire' business via a shop. So they get take-offs from the teams. These only have a single session on them. Practice 3 at New Jersey Motorsport Park last season the USLED 198 Mini. So not bad at all!

Most shops do the same if they run in Grand-Am/Conti Tire.

are you talking about user "jpjp?" I missed out on a set of 255/40/17's that he had, and he hasn't had a god inventory lately. I'm hopping by mid march the teams start testing again and I can find some good scrubs.

Yup. He got some fresh stuff in today. Daytona JUST went down and some teams will be out testing. During season will be way more stuff.

It is the downside of shortened struts. There's no way in hell I'd be able to get away with poke like that.
