Making a hole in the radiator is a little sketchy but I may try a temp probe.

Xat1cZ has the same strut bar on his swap but had to cut up his throttle bracket which I don't want to do. His is a double bar though, can't tell if yours is or not.

I am really interested to see how the cf airbox turns out with alpha N. My understanding is the only plus side is weight savings up about 15lbs but you actually lose torque because of how smart the stock accumulator is. It would be nice to custom map the torque to come in a little early in the rev band though.

Oke oke. Didnt know that i lose some torque. But why is that? And as you say, can i write my own map with alpa N so it comes earlier? And what about a customized chip?

I just love the sound of a AIRBOX!!!!!! :D

There are significant gains to be had using alpha N with an s14 which did not have an plenum actuator but the e34's design is superior. The s38b3x actuator/resonator flap manipulates the amount of air coming into the so that it can maximize midrange torque. Without it, you lose it. Now if you could find a cf plenum exactly the dimension and design as the stock one so that the actuator could be used, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

                            Unbeliveble good looking car ,,

i want to ask you a few questions ,,if you dont mind

                            1) the process of polishing the ITB,,

                            2) You are talking about B38,, C/F airbox etc etc and ALPHA-N

                            3) i like your solution with the radiator,, do you have a better pictures with hoses and everything

                            As i am running a B38 ,,also in a cabrio ,, + ALPHA-N i melted the engine this spring ,, why ??

i started to be clever and changed the intakebox.. made a custom out of aluminium ,, with a net on the intake trumpet,, opened the left grill for better airflow ,, and once when i was totally flat out,, the engine got so much air vs fuel ,, that i got holes in 2 pistons,, that would´nt have happened with MAF

so be careful to not changing anything with airflow without doing a remap

i have my engine out of the car ,, and have disambled it,, so it is new CP forged pistons
have bought all gasket set ((€€€€€€€€€))

                            Kind regards
