    Couple of my e30's

    Hi, long time browser, just recently decided to sign up and introduce myself. Hopefully this thread will keep me motivated to do some work:)
    Soooo the story began after i got my first e30 , it was an 324td with lots of good stuf - mteh 1, recaro seats, strut braces, centra type 8 wheels, mt1 steering wheel etc

    i've put pfeba spoiler on it, replaced the flyhwheel, replaced the headlights ith home made hella replicas, and done some maintenance. Unfortunately i've didn't bother to check the condition of the tensioner/belt, and it just flew of while driving on the highway. Yeah, the engine was toast.

    pros: nice color, lots of rare stuff
    cons: the engine was noisy, suspension was toast, floorpans were rusted, e36 sideskirts

    I've spent ~month searching for a donor, but 324(t)d's are pretty rare even here..and then this one popped up in the classifieds. And i just couldn't pass it up..
    sooo i bought another mtech 1 e30 324d:}}
    this one is in amazing shape. The engine was rebuilt and works like new, starts on a first crank and you can't really hear it working from the interior only if you really focus, the suspension was completely replaced, the body was welded/repainted and so on.

    pics from the add:

    pros: engine, suspension, bodywork, maintenance
    cons: blue interior, 4x4 suspension and some minor stuff like noisy window washer pump.

    sooo the plan is to transfer all the good stuff from the red one to the white one (rear mt1, braces, springs, recaros, headlights, pfeba spoiler etc), part out what's left and i should be good.

    cliffs: i have two e30 324 mt1's standing outside and i'm pretty happy:}

    p.s i may have some stuff for sale (the hella spoiler and the vestatec rear bumper from the white one, front mt1 spoiler from the red one,euro bumpers , wheels and so on)

            Man that would be cool to have a 324td here in the states. Nice cars!

              you'd love the torque. And with some mods it becomes addictive to drive. Put on intercooler, do some minor pump mods, raise the boost and it's capable of doing ~110kw. Repace rotor head to 12mm, mount a bit bigger turbo and you've got ~140kw

                        Thanks! It gives me a new look on what other engines were offered. What kind of strut bar is on that red one?
