this is my first post so i thought i'd share my car :D

i've owned it 4 yrs,I bought it as a project with no tax or mot, it's had x3 m42 engines before i went 200bhp 24v power

the first pics are when i picked it up in 2008 [not 04]

this is where the car stood for 3 and a half years un-touched before i bought it

first up remove chrome arches and change those wheels.

tech1 rear boot spoiler and rear shelf blind fitted

i fitted a replacement m42 along with a chipped ecu and an m20 lightened flywheel that gave 152 bhp

boge tubo rear shocks and Eibach -40mm springs fitted

    the wheels turned out nice

some more pics when it was a 4-pot.

    fitted a headlight wiper kit.

    last months as a 4-pot :D

new tech11 wheel with leather horn push.

    m50 donk.

i fitted an e36 steering rack when i changed the engine this time.

    and bought many more parts.

refubed 51mm struts with boge turbo dampers and apex - 50mm springs.
new back plates, bearings and top mounts all oem.

    new sump gasket

    3.64 lsd

custom m52 manifolds with down pipes.

oem control arms and m3 eccentric bushes

    m535 mounts

    short shift

    viper chip :-D

    time to fit the parts.

    first start up vid clip

    and the first drive

    Leatherzzz.........

moved on to it's arse end to refurb all bushes etc and more expense.

    a saving

thanks m8 i refurbed them myself with paint stripper, sand paper then sprayed them in moondust silver with a few clear coats on top.

it took a long time but worth it in the end

since the last time i posted here the car has had some good action and been very reliable .

i decided to have the wheels fully refurbed and powder coated after finding a very rare fifth wheel :pimp:

very happy with the result and actually owning five of them :)

with dragrace season just about to start and the m50 due a service it was time to spend again .

some castrol gloop ,oil filter,K&N cleaner/charger and a 318is fuel filter [£15 for a bloody fuel filter ]

                            some super 4's :D

the air filter was minging so i'm glad that i got round to cleaning it,i actually cleaned it twice and forgot to clean the kitchen sink after which was soon drawn to my attention

                            before

after a jolly good clean [twice]

and fully charged [with intent to beat the m50's best time of 14.62 down the strip @ pod]

upgraded the rad and fan to an a/c e36 one and a 16" pusher fan ,the top set up worked well but bigger is better !

here's some vids/pics of it in action at York Dragway June 2012

and a couple from Santa pod sept 2012

i've had two show seasons with the m50 fitted so i thought i'd go m52 for next year .

this fat e dirty six came up for sale nearby so i bought it .

it's had the block recall done with proof in the service history below .

98k miles with full service history up to 85k then updated with other garages to 95k miles and fitted to slush box so this will no doubt be a rice pudding skin puller when mated to the 318is box i bought from zaust earlier ready for when i got a donor car which i wanted to be a low mileage auto for obvious reasons ..

i'll be using all the parts i can from the m50 conversion so this shouldn't be to painful on the deep tank lol.

driving around in this auto executive chariot was fun while it lasted but all good things must come to an end sometime

                            Bring the Spring!
