Found a zinno m50 swap for sale locally. So I decided it was time to sell the old eta and upgrade. Car has a r3vlimited sticker on the back maybe someone here knows of it.

To Do list
The car had hit a guard rail on the drivers side (Replacing door and fender then out to the shop for the rear quarter)
Car is running very rich right now (O2 sensor/ebay chip?) Idles fine.
New England rust Oh Yea (DONE)
Steering rack Edit: It just fubared Swaping to e36 rack
Lowered on JOM coil kit camber issues in the rear
Rip in drivers side bolster (Fixed)
Parking break (New shoes and turn drum lip on the lathe)
Front valance is bent in and cracked going to repair it
e36 windows and sunroof switches
Window clicking fixed (Link)

I saw this for sale...was that your black 4 door you sold too? I was contemplating making an offer. It was a pretty good deal. Looking forward to a semi locals progress, I sold my M50 Zinno to a guy near you I think.

Started work on the floor boards and made some good progress.

Cut and welded an patch here


This piece had rusted away :( It holds up the transmission..
So I cut it out and welded new metal in.


Did another small patch on the floor and cut out more metal to make the floor on top of the other patch


Two more small rust wholes opened up and paint cleaned off for welding


Driver side.

After I finish the passenger side I will work on this mess




Welded up the patch on the pass side. Plug welded it to the other piece.

Patched the two spots on the tunnel

Started cleaning up the drivers side.

nice car man, I like the white wheels, I like white wheels in general though haha, I got some rust issues as well, what type of welder are you using man? havent done any welding myself so this is new to me.

Finished the rust work. What a PITA :curse:





Painted top and bottom with POR15 Paint. This stuff is crazy!!!





More updates to come. Putting it back together soon.

Did some more work today.

Removed and painted windshield washer and coolant overflow tanks black. Looks sharp, pics soon.

Also fixed the clicking when the drivers window reaches the bottom.
