Down a hill, around a right hand curve in the wet. Understeered into the opposing lane. 40mph 318i vs 30mph Cincinnati Metro Bus.
Hit hard enough to force the bus off the road and into a tree.

Driver and 2 passengers on the bus were unhurt.
He was going a little too fast on an unfamiliar road. He didn't realize the curve was as sharp as it was until it was too late. If the road would have been dry, it wouldn't even have been a close call.Comment

$66k was the claim on the bus IIRC. Driver's medical is at over $250k. No injuries above the waist, but both femurs were broken and everything below that became one with the pedal cluster.Originally posted by BahnE30

the legs are doin pretty well, im walkin around and doing my normal activities. right now i can run long enough to get away from the cops, so thats all i need.
