It's about time, huh? There's good news and there's bad news. The good news is you guys won't be hearing me ask what model I should get now. The bad news is I'm sure I'll be asking alot of other stupid questions in the next few months :P
She's a 1990 325i with 133k miles, and bone stock. Original owner was a teacher and owned it from new until 2002 when she sold it to a friend with 115k. The third owner, the one I bought it from, is a 63 year old real estate developer and a major BMW enthusiast. He's friends with the original owner owner. He asked her about the car late last month and she gave him the contact info for the 2nd owner. He contacted the 2nd owner and made an offer on the car, which she accepted. He was planning on doing some suspension work and tracking it, when he came across a mint 1988 M3 EVO in California! Needless to say he didn't have a use for this car anymore. He told me he'd bring the EVO by when he picks it up :D
Anyway, I'm estatic. I can't believe how nice these cars are. They handle and ride so well stock, I can't wait to see what it's gonna be like with aftermarket suspension. A couple of the things I plan on doing very soon is tinting the windows, installing an alarm, a short shift kit, and fixing a few minor problems. First mod was completed a few hours after purchase, I debadged it :D
Finally, here are the pics.
