Hi, there. I've posted quite a bit in my search for the right car and in working on a few projects, but haven't yet introduced myself and my car.
This is the only pic I have on my computer at the moment:
1991 318i sedan. 168k (broken odo), just about bone stock as purchased, except for Dinan chip. Got her for $1800.
Mods/maintenance so far:
14" weaves (came with black painted steel wheels) with new rubber
Replaced dented rear bumper
Replaced leaky valve cover gasket
Painted vc wrinkle black while it was off
New plugs/wires
Rebuilt driver's door lock
New timing chain tensioner
Short term Plans:
Electric fan (fan clutch is shot and have to run aux fan to keep temp down)
Timing refresh (bought lightly used timing components from aplinweiss_is)
Drop lower oil pain to look for loose bolts, tighten everything back up
Replace fritzy 6 button obc with euro analog clock
Down the line:
Suspension refresh/upgrade
Find a cardinal sport interior
LSD
So far, having a blast driving and working on her, though. Loving my first E30!
