    AWII Cabrio Transformation

About 18 months ago I stumbled accross a bone stock 89 vert with 48k miles that had been owned by an older couple for over 20 years. The car came complete with the his and hers mongramed initials of the original owners integrated with the teal pinstriping on each door. The car still had the clear plastic engine break-in instruction sticker afixed to the upper left of the windshield. 23 years later I can not bring myself to remove it (See photo below). The car was in great condition, but I just could not leave well enough alone as the following pictures show.

    Here is the break-in sticker

I finished installing a few of the final bits today and had to snap a few shots even though it was cloudy in Jersey. I'll do a proper photoshoot in the coming weeks.

OEM MT2 kit, ACS Type I 7.5x16 Wheels, Euro Grills, Shadowline trim, Ryan G splitter, clear signal lenses, etc.

Thanks, I'm running the Cabrio H&R Touring Cup kit which is supposed to drop the front 1.4" and the rear .75". Visually it could be a little lower but the handling and ride quality is much better than stock. Given the quality of our roads these days, it is about right.

Very nice work! May I suggest a hardtop trunk lid...without brake light.

Beautiful car dude, I even dig the tan roof.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.
