Yeah I have a t1i (cropped sensor as well), but I'm curious what exactly he did to achieve the affect. Did he really put oil on his sensor? That sounds crazy. Am I missing something?

crop sensor is a name for a digital camera sensor that is a little smaller than full frame/35mm but bigger than those cheaper point and shoots.
