Ha-I didn't even bother to respond, but now that I look at the 2nd photo I see it, but must just be a shadow effect cause it ain't any more than the usual E30 gap!

Haven't gotten around to painting it yet, as I sourced a pair of plastic bumpers over the winter and gonna paint everything at the same time. The wife has insisted that I finish some house projects first though.

It's just the Alpina green decal though. I painted my needles red.
