I heard they are pretty slow but I have a highway to city commute so this should be perfect. The idea of driving my restoration project into Baltimore daily after dumping nearly 10k into it made me shudder. The plan for this one is to get it running, arrest the rust and weld in some metal where it's needed. Beyond that nada but routine maintenance.

Polaris metallic? 3 speed auto? Can't get out of it's own way?

I cut my teeth on one of these and really enjoyed it for almost 80k miles. I treated me very well, and I have a soft spot for 'em. Haven't seen that speedometer in awhile.

Picking up the car today. He says thee car won't start but I noticed a vacuum hose was missing on what looked like an IAC. Looking for pics now.

Popped in brand new battery supplied from prior owner and the car fired right up. It runs pretty well actually. There is a small fuel leak from the line that goes into the fuel filter but the engine seems good otherwise. Towed it home to be safe. The AC even blows cold (has been retrofitted to new system according to a sticker under hood). Interior is easily a 8.8 out of 10. No cracks in dash, cloth seats could use cleaning but otherwise very nice. Going to go wash my little bronzit now.

Hmmm... The orange "check" doesn't illuminate. A couple of bulbs are bad in the instruments, the digital clock looks to be dead, and the service LEDs don't seem to working either. Strangely enough I thought all the idiot lights were working earlier today...

The rust is a bigger issue for sure so I think it's time to post in the appropriate sections of this board for help.

One loose fuel line to tighten up (going into fuel filter) and I will move on with other tasks.
