My buddy Russ from Dead Hook Tuning in Michigan came down and tuned my car today and my friends "I" head swapped e30 with megasquirt and a holset hy35. both were street tuned so far, going to try to get it on a dyno soon to try and get a little power out of it. first pull we did, boost went to 30psi and took it like a champ then blew the coupler, found out the wastegate had a open port, so we capped it. did some more tuning and did more pulls, did a bunch of 3rd gear pulls on the highway, and with the 2.93's it was hauling ass pretty good. then we noticed that it was still boosting to about 23-24psi, when i have a 18psi spring. hitting full boost at 3100rpm's, we finished tuning and were headed back home still having some fun, put it in 4th and did a pull and went to about 32psi and blew a coupler, got it home, and found out my precision wastegate's valve is seized shut. so now i need a new wastegate. my buddy on the other hand, had a worse day than i did, car was ripping good and when they got it back, found out that the holset he bought was junk, ass you could hear was metal on metal coming from the exhaust side. so he ordered a new precision turbo. should be here this week. and im going to try and warranty my wastegate. videos will be up shortly

at the end of the video on the last pull, if you watch closely you can see the boost gauge(the one to the right) circle almost completely around passing the 30psi mark

got a new wastegate on, did a couple more things to the car, and it stays at 18psi now and pulls even harder now, we noticed that the tranny was making some noise and kept getting lowder, 3rd sounded like it was straight cut, took it back to my house and just finished off the tranny. tried to launch and tranny just pops, doesnt even move the car. here is the vid.

tranny is fixed! no burnout video yet, but just made a few pulls. seems to work fine :D
