looks clean. anything else planned in the future for the car?
When people ask you what car you drive and you say a BMW and they get all excited until they see it...
my build thread. M50 swap, shaved bay, and wire tuck. http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=87351
Thanks for the compliments. It is a very clean e30. The guy I bought it from in Portland, OR used it as a show car and for club drives. I paid $5650 for it. He only put 6k on it in 3 years. I've put about 30k on it in 6. It was so clean when I bought it that you could literally "eat off the engine". I bought it and turned it into my daily. My son was 11 when I bought it and when he turned 16 it basically became his car.
It's had a recent timing belt and radiator (radiator neck snapped at 140k). The stereo Luke did was just a simple amp bypass (as the stock one crapped out due to antenna grommet leak) and a new wireless ipod deck. It was a birthday present for my son. We found the Borbets about 2 months ago in Portland. $500 with practically new BFG!
The interior is very, very clean as well. No dash cracks. No seat tears. Just a really clean example of a great BMW.
I had bought an 81 911sc for myself but sold it late last year and will soon be on the look out for something else. I'm thinking another clean e30 or an e36 M3.
