I really like the read but, you need bigger tires or more low up front. Otherwise, looks good.

haha yeh, i love it too. Was lucky the pinstripe was still there (i assume from factory) when I bought the car.

I tried my best to get it as even as possibly, so I am assuming maybe it was just uneven ground a little.

          Thanks mate :)

baahhhhh, Would NEVER rock replica's :/ I got these from a private seller on German ebay, had to use 'google translator' to try and convince him to ship them way out here to Australia. After a few replies back and forward we agreed on a price and eventually they arrived :) Actually they arrived one by one a week apart, was scary times... As far as i can tell they are genuine.

Thanks man, good to see another Melbourne dude on the forums :) as you can tell I have only been on these forums a handful of times since I joined... I am in Elsternwick. Where abouts are you? what meets do you usually attend? if any?

haha thanks man, I was a little suss on how they might look when i gave them to the powder coaters, but am stoked with the overall look. I must admit, i got the idea from a picture of an r35 that had a simular color scheme. Happy with the decision

Although, to be honest i get a lot of mixed reactions on the wheels over here in Aus lol

I would like to get rear flaps, have been sort of half looking for a set since i bought the car, but so far haven't stumbled onto any. I have got another set of fronts which I am considering mounting somehow. maybe. Also have a set of IS sideskirts in the garage that will be going on as soon as the clips arrive...

Yeh they are just OEM at the moment, I do like the look of the all red lights. I looked them up a few times but seemed a bit pricey. Maybe sometime down the track. Although, you mentioned spraying them? any links to a DIY or something. could be interested :)

Thanks mate :) At the moment the cars body sits almost flat with the rear being slightly higher. If I raise the rear it would give it more rake. As i'm sure you know the e30's front guards are a lot higher than the rear, which is annoying. Gives the illusion of a crappy rake when the car is actually sitting close to neutral.

Yeh I agree with the rubber band tires... They are the tires that came with the car. I figure I will wear these out then look at a bigger profile for the next set, although the rear tires sit perfect in the guards at the moment, so not sure what I will do for the next set.

I know what you mean man, it kills me as well :( But the m42 sump sits so low and the sump guard sits even lower (40mm ground clearence) :/ it is still my daily car so I can't really afford to lower it anymore. Although I will probably get tempted to later on down the track.

When my missus gets in the car with me the sump guard seriously hits everything and the mudflaps scrape constantly lol they will wear down eventually ;) The front coils have got another 25mm of thread so maybe after winter I might lower it some more.

I'm in Richmond, haven't been to a meet in years as I travel a lot for work. This is all changing now as I've just accepted a new job, so the E30 is starting to get a lot of love.

too much wheel gap for the tire size. car looks great but needs much more low to pull it off.

                                rear shot looks sweet

sump problem? raise the motor, or swap it out.
