    Spring Cleaning

    Hello everyone,
I finally finished my paint cleansing/restore that has been underway for the last several weeks. It has been a pretty amazing transformation, the difference in color and shine is day & night. I would have to say that I am thrilled with how everything turned out after the countless hours that where put in.

    What was done -
    -Wet sand heavy problem areas
-Cutting Compound on the entire car
    -Swirl Remover
    -Paint Cleanser and Polished
    -Waxed
    -Re-dyed moldings black
-Cleaned seals (still need some work)
    -Re-pained IS spoiler
I plan to make a thread of the process, before and after. At the bottom I have included a few before shots where "Perma" dirt formed around the molding & Spoiler and was very visible around the edges.

Here are a few Photos from my shoot, hope you enjoy.

Only sanded problem areas that Cutting compound would not remove. The entire area where the spoiler sits was sanded along with molding areas. Sanded areas that I did touchup work to even out the coat. My paint is single stage so it was a bit worry some at first as my sandpaper turned instantly milky white. In the end, no foggyness or low spots, paint is nice and even.

Will do, I plan on making the thread this weekend and I will provide a link here. In sort, I used a Vinyl Dye on the moldings, coats, standard prep work. On the seals I taped off the areas and used forever black.
