while there is no room for hatred that engine swap deserves severe disapproval. as in it is an abomination.

even though the cars were "just standard 2002's" they are products of the Bayerische Motoren Werke AG.

that installation shows disrespect for BMW. i would not spend another two seconds with that car after seeing that motor. and to show up at bimmerfest? there should be rules about that sort of thing.

That is just a Baur convertible with a fiberglass M3 bodykit. There were 2 2002's there with F20C's. That's a badass engine, with newer technology and less cost vs the traditional S14 swap and it still keeps the balance virtually unchanged. Besides, those were just standard 2002's, not Ti/Tii or 2002 Turbo's. Really can't hate on them for going the Honda route. If you're going to swap, mind as well put in the best engine for the money is my opinion.

The cats name is Bimmer! Some people may have heard meows in a bush while waiting in line and that was him! He's 5 weeks old, 1 lb, and the only time he was calm was in the e30 :)
