    This is what I was talking about with the engine ticking. Sounds like a valve adjustment is gonna be needed too (click on pic for video)

      Very nice pick up early models are growing on me everyday.

        Your springs look like H & R Sport. Same set up as my '88 IX. I do love it. ( Bilsteins and H&R}

          That single wire is for the oil pressure light (switch).
