Learn to spell. Not everyone is into 18" chrome rims and replica body kits of later model cars.

I just went through this thead and deleted almost 2 pages of bullshit and flaming. Keep it clean, or I'll just lock/delete the whole thing. The maturity level of some of you amazes me sometimes, it baffles me that you have driver's licenses and own cars.

Dave, I think as some more work is done on it, It will look pretty good. Its clean now, and it should only get better.

Maybe one day I'll get to see some of your cars.

I just cant imagine why you left it bronzit?

I actually like bronzit quite a bit. My first E30 was bronzit, and it looked good. Plus, it hides dirt like a mother.

You're not the only one that's madly jealous of that, Mariano. I've been searching for someone parting out a late-model for almost a year, so they could cut that rear apron off and ship it to me.

Yeah but I here its a little more complicated and it is connected to the battery tray in some way. Eh, whatever. I could be wrong.

It's actually just part of the unibody of the car. You can cut it off with a Sawzall behind where the bumper mounts in pretty much a straight line, and just graft it onto the body of the recieving car in pretty much the same manner. I've seen them bolted as well as welded on. The best I ever saw was one that was tack welded every few inches, and then also fastened with hardware and rubber shims, to reduce vibration. Since it was all hidden behind the bumper, and the welds were very small, there was no need for any kind of cosmetic work to be done.

                              Matt,

I wish I was 16 all over again.... that was a long, long time ago and a lot of fun. I built my first mod car when I was 19 with my own hands. Dropped a 2.0 ltr 16V in a VW Rabbit. I had to make a new main wiring harness for the Scirocco brain , Scirocco 16v fuel injection, GLI trans, and GLI brakes front/rear. I used 3 different kind of cars to make the Rabbit 2.0 16v, and this was when the 2.0 16v just came out on the market. Spent many hours with the Bentley Manual and picking the brains of the VW mechanics that I apprenticed for. Anyways, Jordan is just bored and is just getting off on everyone's reaction.

I have had my fair share of " Engine modified " cars in my teens's & 20's- from VWs to Saleen Mustangs, and don't care for them now. I prefer to pay pricks like Jordan to work on my car, because I don't have the time to get " down and dirty" anymore. And besides, why would I want to be under a car, when I have closed deals over the phone for a $20,000 proifit. No thanks, I was the mechanic when I was 19 and don't care for it. I have the cash to just pay people today to do the work and use my time to make the big $$. Jordan, you are a piece of work and keep up the positive vibes.
                              Jordan
